Arianna Caraballo

Lead Surgery Licensed Veterinary Technician

Arianna Nicole Caraballo is the lead veterinary technician and surgical nurse at Uptown Paws, with approximately 11 years of clinical experience in veterinary medicine spanning emergency and critical care, general practice, and surgery. She has a niche interest and affinity for emergency critical care, small animal dentistry and anesthesia, and is ALS CPR Recover certified. She is the devoted pet parent of two fur babies: a Shih Tzu–Chihuahua mix named Crash and a snuggly cat named Bear.

Arianna has a particular affection for Shih Tzus, and deep passion for geriatric palliative care, inspired by the 14 years she spent with her beloved childhood Shih Tzu, AJ. She is currently a student at Stony Brook University, where she is expanding her academic background in marine biology while preparing to apply to veterinary school in the 2028 application cycle.

Beyond her professional and academic pursuits, Arianna is passionate about marine conservation, marine invertebrate research, emergency veterinary medicine and enjoys spending her free time relaxing at the beach or hiking; while fully immersed in nature.

Arianna is a dedicated nurse, valuing gold standard medicine and care for all of her patients she works with; and she can’t wait to take care of you and your fur baby!
