The absolute best Veterinarian Team. Both Dr. Buddendorf and Rizzo have transformed my cat’s quality of life. It has been a long journey and I am beyond grateful to have found this clinic. The team at Uptown Paws is made of beautiful people who are empathetic and passionate about the work that they do.

My 2 dogs were previous seen by Dr. Doloroso for many years. However, after seeing Dr. B, I couldn’t compare her, knowledge and professionalism as a vet who truly cares for her clients, especially their fur babies. Dr. B, first got on the floor and played with my Bianki (a Multi Shih Tzu) to gain her trust, and confidence before treating her. Both I and Bianki felt at ease with Dr. B and her wonderful caring staff. I highly recommend Dr. B. If you want the best veterinary care and experience for your loving pet.

Dr. Buddendorf (Dr. B) and the entire staff at Uptown Paws are wonderful--friendly, professional, and very good at their jobs. My family were longtime clients of the Animal Clinic of New York, which Dr. B took over, renamed, and fully renovated in September 2025. We have a dog and two cats and decided to give Uptown Paws a try. So glad we did. All three of my pets have had regular checkups and treatment for health issues, and we couldn't be happier. My 50 lb. dog is a sweetheart at the vet and will put up with anything; my two 14 lb cats--not so much. The staff are really great with handling pets who don't like visits to the vet. They're also great with communication and their fees are reasonable.

Uptown Vets is the best! I’ve been to many vets throughout the city and Uptown is a cut above the rest. I’m very happy to bring my cat Bowie here! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean facilities and just a great vibe overall! Highly recommend Vet Maddie and the team to anyone who is seeking great veterinary care in the city!

We are so grateful for Dr Maddie and her team. As a reactive dog owner, vet visits can sometimes be a challenge. The care that my dog gets overwhelms me with joy. They are very kind, patient, and my dog’s tail wags when he sees them. Any past vet visits that have given us anxiety has been replaced with peace and happiness. Needless to say, I highly recommend Uptown Paws!

I finally found a veterinarian that is thorough and truly cares about my dog and the issues we’re facing. Ive been to a few different places over the two years with my puppy and no one has been as caring and attentive. I appreciate Dr. B and her entire staff!

This has to be the most amazing clinic I've ever visited. I don't trust anybody with my Cat but when I took her today they were patient and loving towards both of us. Doctor Buddendorf is amazing and very efficient! She explained everything clearly to me and answered any question i had. The staff is amazing and so sweet especially the woman at the front desk Sharice! 5 Stars across the board! I recommend taking your pets here!
