Veterinarian
Dr. Allie Rizzo grew up in Connecticut and always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and moving to New York City. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on St Kitts and Nevis, where she adopted her beloved island dog, Ryder (who is now a pampered city dog). Dr. Rizzo has a passion for small animal medicine and surgery as well as wildlife medicine and conservation. She has spent time volunteering with lions and wild dogs in Southern Africa, and has worked with chimpanzees at a sanctuary in Florida, but her heart is always with the dogs and cats of the big city! She met Dr. Buddendorf at the start of both of their careers, and is thrilled to be working with her again and to be part of the Uptown Paws family!
